Hi Friends - Glad you're thinking of oil painting, Because I know that . . .

"I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT!

You can put your dreams on canvas. The wet-on-wet technique I use, as seen on TV has been overwhelming successful for first time painters. Introduced to America by BOB ROSS on his popular PBS television series, "The Joy of Painting". Bob's gentle manner and easy to understand "wet-on-wet" painting technique continues to motivate literally thousands of people to pick up a paint brush and create beauty. I use this wet-on-wet method along with TRADITIONAL PAINTING TECHNIQUES to achieve great results in our classroom. I have classes in landscape, seascape, floral, and animals, and you will finish a painting in every class! Beginners are always welcome.

You can learn to paint beautiful oil paintings even if you cannot come to class. Carol has instruction videos available, just like having a private lesson in your own home.

Carol hosts the television series "HAPPY PAINTING" seen on Rhode Island Cable Television, Thursdays at 4pm and Sundays at 7:30pm. During this thirty minute show Carol completes a beautiful, 'easy-to-do' oil painting with the help of her side kick SQUIRT. Squirt is an African Grey Parrot, Carols' friend and pet with an outstanding vocabulary. He's always ready to critique her work and chew on the brush handles during the show. Squirt would want us to mention that he is REALLY the "STAR" of the show!

An artist heaven, spacious sunlight studio located on a five acre wildlife rehabilitation station. Watch the horses run in their pasture along the Suckashean River, in West Kingston, Rhode Island. Studio seats 16 with windows overlooking the river, pastures, and creatures of every sort. The farm is a short or long term home to wildlife in need and domestic pets that find them selves on hard times. You'll find peacocks, chickens, geese, ducks, doves, all free roaming the farm. Then there are the dogs, cats, and horses.

"Squirt" the resident African Gray parrot is in charge most of the time, he also is host to Carols' TV show "Happy Painting" seen on Rhode Island Cable. Squirt comes to all Carols' oil painting classes and entertains. His favorite lines: "Hurry up, Oh my God - What a mess!".
Then to make peace he shouts "Oh, man - That's beautiful!"

In the spring we have the baby orphans, raccoon, fox, or weasel. We rehabilitate and nurse them along. Birds of all sorts turn up when they are injured and are turned loose when they heal.

Totem Farm, home to creators big and small !

Well it all started when I was thirty ... I got a divorce and bought a horse. I also bought a small farm which had lay empty for 25 years. The house was over grown with vines and shrubs, had no heating system, and a decided lean to the roof. We had our work cut out for us, myself and my three children. But inch by inch, Totem Farm became a pleasure to the eye and home to ... I can't count how many of Gods Creatures. No homeless fur or feather critter is ever turned away. My children are grown and now my new husband, Tony, is my happy helper in this home for many,
